Parenting Matters

Role Senior UI/UX Designer

The redesign of Parenting Matters’ website aims to transform the platform into a welcoming and user-friendly space for parents seeking resources, support, and community. As the Senior UI/UX Designer leading the project, I focused on creating an intuitive user journey and redefining the visual identity to align with the organisation’s mission.

Our goals included enhancing mobile responsiveness, optimising content structure, prioritising accessibility, building community features, and improving site performance for a seamless and engaging experience across all devices.

Project goals

User experience optimisation

We aimed to design a seamless journey for parents to find information, resources, and support quickly. This involved streamlining navigation and creating intuitive pathways to relevant content.

Visual identity redefinition

Streamline the booking process with an intuitive interface and personalised recommendations to encourage more bookings.

Community building

Integrated social features such as forums and chatrooms to foster engagement and build a supportive community among parents.

Mobile responsivness

Ensured a consistent experience across all devices, optimising layouts for smartphones, tablets, and desktops.

As the Senior UI/UX Designer, I led the effort to transform the site into a trusted hub for parents, aligning it seamlessly with Parenting Matters’ vision to serve as a reliable source of knowledge and community.

The redesigned Parenting Matters website became a modern, user-friendly platform that empowers parents with valuable resources, fostering a supportive community, and reinforces the organisation’s commitment to its mission. The project successfully increased user engagement, boosted retention, and has made parenting support more accessible.
